The project ‘The Guy’ consists of eight photographs of the US president Barack Obama. Photographs were taken from the back of the crowd during president’s official speech in Prague on 5.4.2009. Except for Obama, everything was removed from the photographs leaving him suddenly alone. This seemingly most powerful man of the planet presents himself as someone who can keep all the promises and visions that he brings along. He embodies a cult that represents something what a person never can be. Who is he speaking for? Was he created as a character in a drama or does he really speak only for himself?
